Retailer names Clark Recreation Center as 5% Day Recipient (Clark, NJ - August 6, 2015) - Whole Foods Market (NASDAQ: WFM), America's Healthiest Grocery Store®, is excited to announce the opening of its newest location in Clark, NJ on Friday, August 7th. Whole Foods Market Clark, located within the Clark Commons Shopping Center (1255 Raritan Road), is the retailer's second Union County location and fourteenth in New Jersey. The day will kick-off with the retailer's traditional bread breaking ceremony at 8:45am, followed by giveaways, sampling, special sales, and other events throughout the store. With Whole Foods Market's continued commitment to the local community, the Clark store will donate 5% of opening day sales to the Clark Recreation Center in support of improvements to the recreation center kitchen. In addition, in partnership with the Recreation Department, the Clark store will launch the Clark Family Kitchen program, offering both healthy and educational kitchen programming for kids, adults and seniors, with classes and nutrition classes both in-store and in the recreation center kitchen.
